ABOUT US

Equmenopolis, Inc. is an artificial intelligence technology start-up founded in May 2022. We create a platform for socially-intelligent conversational AI services, enabling the human-AI co-evolving world.

For generations mankind has dreamt of creating a smart machine that would rival the intelligence of a human being. Many find that ambition to be daunting, dubious, and even dangerous. We disagree.

Here at Equmenopolis, each day presents a new opportunity to bring science fiction closer to reality. We believe AI should neither threaten nor intimidate the human race, but grow and learn with it by its side. Our mission is centered on the co-evolution between human and machine, and solving the puzzle of how best to achieve it.

Our current focus is to improve the language education system in Japan with highly interactive conversational AI technology. We aspire to create an AI language interviewer that will be able to accurately evaluate an English language learner’s proficiency and place them into programs that suit their unique learning needs.

We are a fast growing team composed of diverse educational backgrounds that include machine learning, linguistics, business, design and arts, with members from Japan, the US, Poland, Wales and Spain. We differentiate ourselves from other Japanese workplaces by valuing freedom, creativity and flexibility.
